We only have the purple backpack because I thought the suitcase/detachable backpack combo was too pricey. It is very nice and, I think, a little larger than the BB one. (Just checked AG website, purple one is 3" taller than BB suitcase)

The best feature is that the backpack holds the doll. Is that what your daughter likes about it? Could you get her the backpack with a less expensive suitcase?

If both are $92, backpack is $34, then suitcase is $58. Seems like you could get a very nice suitcase for her for $58.

Let us know what you/she decides. I wish I had looked more closely at it at AGP to see what makes it worth so much!
